Parking Lots

Right of Way

Parking lots have fault rules. Parking lots have three areas.

1.) Roads, called thoroughfares. These are the roadways that you enter/leave a parking lot on.
2.) Feeder lane. These are roads inside the parking lot, usually lanes lined with parking spots.
3.) Parking spots.

Remember all the other fault rules, like reversing or open doors, still apply in a parking lot. Some drivers think parking lots have no fault rules. That is wrong. Only the Highway Traffic Act doesn"t apply because parking lots are private land. So cops can"t issue driving offence tickets.
